Nashville imaging company opens Florida joint venture

Outpatient Imaging Affiliates has partnered with a division of the Adventist Health System Inc. to open an outpatient imaging center in Ormond Beach, Fla.
The $10 million facility, Florida Hospital Imaging LLC, is a joint venture between OIA and Florida Hospital Memorial System, a division of Adventist.
Nashville-based OIA was responsible for developing the center and will manage it under a long-term agreement. Suncoast Radiology will provide professional interpretive services at the facility.
OIA partners with hospitals, medical centers and radiology practices to develop and manage outpatient diagnostic imaging centers. The company owns an interest in and operates centers for the University of Virginia Health System, the University of Maryland Medical System, the University of Texas in Houston and others throughout a 12-state footprint.
Adventist Health System operates 37 hospitals in 10 states.
